Sunset Pier

Key-West-Sunset

The Sea Key Resort’s Sunset Pier is really a attractive restaurant with colorful umbrellas and colored barstools.  Grab a glass or two as well as an appetizer watching the experience within the harbor during sunset.

It may obtain a bit crowded before the sun’s rays starts to lower on the horizon.  If you would like a clear view, it’s important to grab excrement across the railing that runs the size of the pier.  With many different people arriving right before sunset, getting service can often be just a little slow.

Make it happen early, discover the perfect place and also have a couple of drinks.  The meals won’t use them the map, but it’s great for the cost and also you can’t beat the vista.

Found at Duval Street.  Literally where Duval ends in to the Gulf, just north of Mallory Square.

Fort Zachary Taylor Condition Park

Go into the Truman Annex and continue straight right through to Fort Zachary Taylor Condition Park.  Sunsets are less crowded here than Mallory Square and there’s lots of space to start across the waterfront sand and rocks to have an unobstructed view.

To increase the wonder, sailing vessels traverse over the sundown for his or her sunset tours.  Without having all of the circus of functions, it’s a basic and peaceful ending towards the day.

The park closes immediately after the sun’s rays goes lower.  If you wish to walk around the beach or browse the fort, make it happen a minimum of an hour or so before sunset.

Admission Charges:

$2.50 Pedestrians, bicyclists

$4.50 Single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle

$6.50 per vehicle. Limit 2-8 people per vehicle

A Sunset Sail

This season, you will find loads of Trop Rock sunset sail charters throughout the annual Meeting from the Minds (MOTM) Parrot Mind convention.  Take a look at your preferred musician’s schedule to find out if they’re performing on the boat during sunset.  Typically, the very first 30-forty-five minutes from the sail, you’ll are able to see the area in the water.  Because the boat heads the funnel, turn watching the sun’s quick drop in to the sea.

Sunset in Key West this season is going to be at 6:45pm until November. 3rd.  We fall back an hour or so on November. fourth (Sunday) and sunset is going to be at 5:45pm.

When the sun goes lower, turn your focus on the party aboard and relish the live Trop Rock music plus a hundred other Parrot Heads.

Prices for sailing tours with live music average around $50.  Without live music, prices average about $35.  Choose the background music tours –   It’s worthwhile!

Casa Marina

The hub of Meeting from the Minds may be the Casa Marina Resort and you may watch the sunset every evening with your Parrot Mind buddies.  There’s two piers that stretch in to the Atlantic.  Go out around the longest one (pictured here), the western pier, to find the best views.  Obviously, the shore view isn’t too shabby either.

Grab your drink and relish the fantastic show every night — the sunset and also the music.

Get the camera ready and capture your preferred sunset view!

Key West Florida Top 5 Travel Tips

COMMENTS:

Effie Colida: Toooo expensive everything you discussed

Joli Grostephan-Brancato: The only good suggestion here is La Creparie. They are delicious. Otherwise, don’t waste your money on a stupid electric car (bike, walk, or scoot), don’t pay out the ass to go eat overpriced fried fish and frozen fries on a private island (they don’t let you use the beach unless you’re staying in one of the cottages) and that concierge certainly doesn’t have exclusive deals. You can find those coupons all over the island.

Whadda Yaknow: THE CREPEIRE !!!!!!

Florida Girl: My boyfriend and I (both Florida natives); have just spent 4 days in Key West and had a great time! I have created videos for youtube, but I’m having a hard time uploading them to my channel for some reason.

Steve Herring: So the #1 tip is to leave Key West and go to another key?

mssher: This video is really just commercials. Half the fun of the Keys is the drive from Key Largo to Key West, it’s a very scenic drive. Talk to the people at your hotel for stuff to do. Stay as close to Duval Street as possible. You’ll see lots of chickens walking around so don’t panic – they are part of the ambience there. Rent a bicycle not a car. Go to Mallory Square at sunset. Go on a reef trip even if you don’t snorkel. Visit the Dry Tortugas. Take the walking ghost tour. Have fun!

Mrksrichardson: The one thing they did get right is the crepe place, those frenchies are magicians when it comes to making crepes!\n

CalLady79: Hey, it’s not like she did/said something nasty to you personally. This may not be the best tour video, but c*** is too harsh.

CalLady79: I hope to visit Key West and explore it for myself one day. And as far as the food mentioned here, I am not too sure about the veggie buckwheat crepes (although I do love that it has 3 cheeses; I love cheese)…but it sounds pretty good, still. I would love to try that fish taco!

hpribot: Agree. I’m guessing she’s been in the selling business for a long, long time.\n

hpribot: Looks like she wasted no time in helping herself to the Key Lime Pie.\n

yu wang: Where is the French resto?

Al King: Hello everyone,\n\nWant to see a really cool Key West web site? Check out keywestcharterboats(dot)com\n\nThey have a live web cam on their fishing boat for you to see them out fishing live..

Bailey Howard: also, i love going to the dry tortugas

Bailey Howard: what….a….dumb…cunt

MintStrawberryBB: This lady has no clue, if you end up listening to her you will end up spending a fortune and having the wrong impression of this truly awesome town.

Dykefale: wow…. going there next week, i hope my vaca is nothing like this loser describes\n

George Gilkenson: this is bullshit.. I go to KW every August.. This mised the whole point of the island..\r\n

MCCOUSCOUSMUSIC: I have no idea where you think you can find a “baller” place in Key West for $1200, unless you’re talking about living in a shoe box. Most places here are atleast $1100, and that is for a super small one bedroom studio. Good luck!

kwcody: @bim2x4 YO i live in key west. for 1,200 you can get a baller, possibly historic pad downtown where all the action is, roosters, cats, crazies. the whole deal. 1,200 a month in key west would get you a nice spot. get into an old house, not a condo.
