We depart early and drive north for the subtropical coast and bushveld of Zululand – home from the mighty Zulu nation and go to the village of St Lucia for any boat cruise around the estuary from the famous lake St Lucia (announced a global Heritage Site in December 1999). Crocodiles, hippos and wildlife including wild birds like the fish bald eagle have been in abundance. After lunch (optional) we visit the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park, in which the rhino was saved from extinction and residential towards the shy nyala and also the Big Five. We exit the park early evening and drive to the private lodge for supper and overnight.
DAY 2 Swaziland
We join and morning hours open vehicle safari to look for the African wildlife awakening. After breakfast we mind northwards and then Swaziland. We enter in the Onverwacht border publish and consume a scenic route via Nhlangano to Manzini, where crossing every hill results in a new vista We stay in the Malkerns Valley for many excellent shopping possibilities. Aside from Swazi Candle lights, in which the locals hands-mould wax into a multitude of colourful candle lights, there’s additionally a hands-craft market, a batik factory outlet, along with other interesting shops.
DAY 3 Kruger Park
Today we traverse the main city of Swaziland, Mbabane, and go to the Ngwenya Glass factory further on, where all goods are hands produced from recycled glass. We continue through magnificent mountain scenery via Piggs Peak and then leave Swaziland entering the Kruger Park within the south. All of those other day is dedicated to game viewing. We overnight in chalets inside a rest camp inside the park.
DAY 4 Kruger Park – Private Reserve
Today we spend the majority of the morning within the reserve trying to find game before we leave this paradise from the wild. We get to our private game reserve for check-in. Only then do we attempt a wide open vehicle game viewing drive that incurs the first evening. High-powered spotlights are utilized to discover the nocturnal creatures. A delicious dinner underneath the stars inside a "Boma" enclosure around a fire (weather permitting) models your day off.
DAY 5 Breathtaking Route
After an earlier morning hike, trying to find nature by walking by having an armed ranger, and breakfast we leave this paradise. We go into the escarpment of Mpumalanga via Abel Erasmus Pass. We visit the 3 Rondavels view site from the Blyde River Gorge and walk across the steep coves to savor a much better look at the magnificent scenery. The following stop is Bourke’s Luck Potholes. A hike lower the hill to see this excellent trick of nature may be worth your time and effort. Appointments with Lisbon Falls, God’s Window and also the Pinnacle are rewarding encounters. Continue via Graskop to Sabie where we overnight.
DAY 6 Breathtaking Route – Gauteng
After breakfast we perform a enjoyable walk-through indigenous forest to go to Lone Creek Falls. At MacMac Falls, another walk goes towards the place in which the hurry for alluvial gold began in 1873. Our “gold rush” culminates with a trip to Pilgrim’s Rest, an excellent illustration of a gold mining town initially built-in the 1800s. Stroll with the town and experience this little town that’s now a nationwide monument. Later on, we continue via Robber’s Pass, Lydenburg and Dullstroom to Gauteng, where we arrive late mid-day.
