Ellen Browning Scripps Park

For any secluded place from the masses, Hamblen recommends catching the sunset having a glass of vino in hands around the balcony of We Olive. “From the outside, it’s a store with great essential olive oil,” he states. “But there is a wonderful wine tasting room having a balcony hanging off which has a cute view, it’s secluded and hidden to ensure that nobody realizes it’s there. It’s certainly one of my personal favorite hidden spots to cover in the crowds.”

Georges in the Cove
“It’s this type of La Jolla landmark and all sorts of three floors have beautiful views, whether you’ll need a drink in the lounge or perhaps an open-air dinner around the sea terrace,” Hamblen states. Georges is known for its marinated and grilled fish tacos, but note the famous part—it could possibly get a little busy around the weekend, so a reservation can help make sure you get prime sunset exposure.

Donovan’s
